Baitul Hilalians lay foundation stone for Rs. 15 Crore Muslim Architecture Baitul Hilal Reconstruction Project

In a departure from tradition, the Baitul Hilalians (Children) laid foundation stone for Rs 15 Crore Muslim architecture Baitul Hilal reconstruction project at Jawahar Nagar here today. Justice (Retd) Bashir A Kirmani, Poet and Social Activist Zareef Ahmad Zareef, Molvi Tariq Jameel, prominent Medico and Social Activist Dr Mir Mohammad Maqbool, Dr Ahmad Hussain Gazi, Imam of Al-Farooq Masjid Jawhar Nagar Molvi Abdul Gani Shah, Chairman JKYF Mohammad Rafiq Lone and cross section of people were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion Justice Kirmani expressed satisfaction over initiating the reconstruction project for inmates of Baitul Hilal. He exhorted upon the people to inculcate selflessness and sincerity of purpose to work for the welfare and rehabilitation of destitute.

Zareef Ahmad Zareef called upon the people to fulfill social responsibility by extending support to Baitul Hilal reconstruction project.

Imam and Khateeb of Al-Farooq Masjid Molvi Abdul Gani Shah described the Baitul Hiloal as the best among all homes. He appealed people to come forward to support this nobel project.

President Welfare Committee Jawahar Nagar Nazir Ahmad recalled great work done by J&K Yateem Foundation during September 2014 floods. He assured all possible support to accomplish the Baitul Hilal Project.

Besides media persons from prominent dailies, the representatives and staff members from Oasis Public High School and Salih Sublime School Srinagar also attended the function.

Earlier, Baitul Hilal Children recited verses from Holy Qura'n and presented Naat. Baitul Hilal student Mohammad Yaseen presented Dua'.
